The Slip Studio was founded through a love for experimentation. Our curated palette of slips are thoughtfully formulated and carefully mixed in our studio using high quality materials. Each batch is tested for performance on a range of clays and firing temperatures, ensuring reliable results.
We're obsessed with the little details - layered surfaces, expressive marks, and the matt-to-glossy contrasts that slip and glaze create. Whether you're brushing, trailing, dipping, or carving, our slips are made to help your individual style stand out.
Why small batch? Because we like knowing exactly what's going into our slips, and we want you to feel great about what’s going on your pots.
Every batch is mixed by hand, tested (a lot), and crafted with care.
